Hello! My name is Kate Pults. I am a Licensed & Certified Professional Midwife in Roswell New Mexico. I believe in the continuation of traditional midwifery skills, knowledge, and the importance of the midwives hands; touch, healing, gentleness, and wisdom. I been a birth worker since 2019 and have worked in the home birth setting, and as a Professional Doula in both hospital and homebirth settings. I am an herbalist and I have additional education in Spinning Babies and functional Medicine. I deeply respect both holistic and allopathic medicine, recognizing the essential roles of each in healthcare. I was born and raised in Washington State. I have been happily married to my wonderful and supportive husband since 2016, and together we have 3 beautiful boys ages 10, 7, and 6. Two of which were born at home with Midwives. Having experienced both a hospital birth and two empowering and peaceful homebirths, I knew what my true calling and passion in life was: to be a Midwife and serve mothers in the same way I was blessed to be served. 

  I am a Midwife based in Roswell, NM. I was born and raised right here in the Land of Enchantment. I began my birth world journey in 2021 as a birth assistant. Later that year I completed my birth doula training. In 2022 I began an official apprenticeship in the home birth setting and obtained a certification for placenta encapsulation. In 2023, I joined  Santa Fe Birth Center as a Student Midwife.  Since then, I have attended over 50 births in both the hospital and home settings. I began as a student with Three Suns Birth in January 2024. I believe in the sacredness and the power that women hold throughout childbirth and beyond. I am passionate about helping women take charge of their lives and gaining confidence in their bodies throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I look forward to serving you and your families!

Carisa Breakfield is a passionate birthworker, discovered her love for the sacred journey of childbearing in Wyoming in 2014 working as a doula in her local community. Carisa's journey led her to complete nursing school in 2016, equipping her with a solid foundation in healthcare. However, her thirst for knowledge and her desire to provide holistic care led her to pursue further education in midwifery, which she successfully completed didactic training in 2019. Throughout her career, Carisa's path has lead her far and wide, gaining wisdom and guidance from experienced midwives from various backgrounds, across different states. This exposure to diverse perspectives and practices has enriched her understanding of the birthing process, allowing her to provide unique and personalized support to those on her path.  She firmly believes in the sacredness of birth and the incredible instinctual power of the birthing person to bring these precious new souls into our world. With her training and unwavering belief in the beauty of birth, Carisa is a trusted ally, supporting and empowering individuals throughout their transformative childbirth experiences and beyond.

My name is Tracy Hutcherson and I am thrilled to be joining Three Suns Birth as a midwife's assistant. My journey to this role has been shaped by both professional experience and personal motherhood, which have deepened my empathy and understanding for the importance of empowering women throughout pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I am excited to assist our wonderful midwives and support and advocate for women during such a transformative and empowering time in their lives. I cannot wait to embark on this new chapter and make a positive impact in the lives of mothers and families.

Raelene Whitehead is a dedicated student midwife, birth doula, and placenta encapsulation specialist. She embarked on her doula journey in November 2021, attending her first birth that same month. Shortly thereafter, she founded Shiloh Birth LLC, reflecting her commitment to empowering and nurturing mothers throughout their birthing experiences. ​

 Raelene offers comprehensive support services, including childbirth education and placenta encapsulation, aiming to provide personalized care that respects each family's unique needs and preferences. Her passion lies in fostering empowered births and nurturing mamas, ensuring that every client feels supported and informed throughout their journey. ​

Now, as a valued member of the Three Suns Birth team, Raelene continues her mission to support and educate families, bringing her expertise and compassionate care to a broader community.​
