Hello! My name is Kate Pults. I am a Licensed & Certified Professional Midwife in Roswell New Mexico. I offer in-home and in-office prenatal care. My service area currently includes: Roswell, Artesia, Carlsbad, Portales, and Clovis. I strongly believe in passing on traditional midwifery skills, knowledge, and the importance of the midwives hands; touch, healing, gentleness, and wisdom. I have attended nearly 100  births combined as Primary Midwife and Apprentice Midwife in the home birth setting, and as a Professional Doula in hospital and homebirth settings in the past 5 years. I have additional education and competencies in herbalism, placenta pathology, and Spinning Babies. I deeply respect both holistic and allopathic medicine, recognizing the essential roles of each in healthcare. I was born and raised in Washington State. I have been happily married to my wonderful and supportive husband since 2016, and together we have 3 beautiful boys ages 9, 6, and 5. Two of which were born at home with Midwives. Having experienced both a hospital birth and two empowering and peaceful homebirths, I knew what my true calling and passion in life was: to be a Midwife and serve mothers in the same way I was blessed to be served. 

  I am a Midwife based in Roswell, NM. I was born and raised right here in the Land of Enchantment. I began my birth world journey in 2021 as a birth assistant. Later that year I completed my birth doula training. In 2022 I began an official apprenticeship in the home birth setting and obtained a certification for placenta encapsulation. In 2023, I joined  Santa Fe Birth Center as a Student Midwife.  Since then, I have attended over 50 births in both the hospital and home settings. I began as a student with Three Suns Birth in January 2024. I believe in the sacredness and the power that women hold throughout childbirth and beyond. I am passionate about helping women take charge of their lives and gaining confidence in their bodies throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I look forward to serving you and your families!

My name is Tracy Hutcherson and I am thrilled to be joining Three Suns Birth as a midwife's assistant. My journey to this role has been shaped by both professional experience and personal motherhood, which have deepened my empathy and understanding for the importance of empowering women throughout pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I am excited to assist our wonderful midwives and support and advocate for women during such a transformative and empowering time in their lives. I cannot wait to embark on this new chapter and make a positive impact in the lives of mothers and families.
